Our primary cross-league comparison tool is a unified ELO rating system that rates all clubs on a single scale. European competition results (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League) provide direct comparison data between teams from different leagues, while domestic results maintain ratings within each league. The ELO system automatically calibrates cross-league strength differences through the results of these inter-league fixtures.

League Strength Coefficients

We maintain league-level strength coefficients derived from both UEFA coefficient data and our own cross-league performance analysis. A player scoring 15 goals in a weaker league may not replicate that output in a stronger competition.
